DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION

Beginning 25-26 School Year

DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EDUCATION &STUDENT SERVICES, permanent 12-month position.  Candidate must have a valid PA Permanent or Instructional II Teacher Certificate or equivalent, K-12 PA Principal Certification, minimum of five years of successful teaching experience with no less than three years in special education required. Supervisory experience preferred. Candidate must be a strong communicator, have experience with disciplinary procedures, data analysis, special education programs and interventions, have a thorough working knowledge of special education laws and regulations supervision and evaluation.  Candidate must have organizational and collaboration skills for site-based decision making and budgeting, along with strong child-centered instructional leadership skills focused on student growth and achievement.  Interested candidates will need to provide a signed cover letter, resume, certification/licenses, transcripts, signed PDE-6004 form (Act 24 and 82), current Acts 31, 34, 151, 168, TB test results and FBI fingerprint clearances dated within one year and five current letters of recommendation. School Security Guard

The Cameron County School District is accepting applications for School Security Guard (part-time). Prior experience as a Municipal, State, Federal, or Military Police Officer, PA Department of Corrections, Federal Bureau of Prisons, or equivalent service required.  The following certification are mandated prior to commencement of employment: Act 120 or equivalent knowledge, Act 235, and Act 67.
