Membership in the Sociedad Honoraria Espanola is to honor students who have done exceptionally well in all areas of the Spanish language. Selection is based on a student’s GPA, an overall Spanish average grade of 93% or higher, conversational abilities in Spanish and academic integrity. This includes being free from incidents involving cheating, plagiarism, or intentional dishonesty.

To become a member of any honor society, the student must participate in their respective induction ceremony.
