Mu Alpha Theta

Mu Alpha Theta is a National High School and Two-Year College Mathematics Honor Society. It is an organization whose purpose is to stimulate interest in mathematics, develop sound scholarship in the subject and promote enjoyment of mathematics. Mu Alpha Theta was founded in 1957 and now there are over 1500 chapters in the United States and foreign countries.  In our chapter, students must be enrolled in college level mathematics courses and maintain a 90% average.  Colleges and universities recognize membership in Mu Alpha Theta as an important part of the student’s academic resume.

To become a member of any honor society, the student must participate in their respective induction ceremony.
